Fashion Summer Camp. There are two courses running this summer at the design studio - one for boys and girls aged 7-12 yrs and another for girls aged 12-18yrs. The first is a 1 day summer camp aimed at boys and girls aged between 7 and 12 years. It runs from 10am - 3pm in July and August on selected dates. (please keep an eye on the website for dates once they are announced). The cost includes all materials and insurance for the child for the day. The morning is spend doing designs and coming up with original ideas, by mid-day each child will be able to thread a needle and hand-sew and by home time each child will have created and customised their own individual t- shirt / vest top using fabrics, wool, threads, beads, ribbons and fabric paints. This is a fanstastic day for the kids to explore and develop their creative side, to mix with other biys and girls and to do something new and exciting with their summer holidays. Children's places can be booked on the website (enter number of children under "Quantity" when booking - you will be charged 4 delivery fee when booking but this will be refunded on the day of the course). The second is for the older more sdvanced girls in secondary school. This course runs for one week - Monday to Friday, from 10am - 3pm daily. the girls will learn all the skills necessary to design and manufacture thier own creation. This is a fantastic course paced with fun and exciting new design and creaive skills. No previous skills are necessary as everything is taught on the course. It costs 200, this includes all fabrics and materials AND insurance.
