This is a 1 week summer camp aimed at girls aged between 12 and 18 years. It runs from 10am - 3pm in June,July and August on selected dates. (please keep an eye on the website for dates once they are announced). The cost includes all materials, design paper, buttons, beads etc. and insurance for the student for the week. The 1st day is spend doing designs and coming up with original ideas, by mid week each student will be able to thread a needle and hand-sew, machine sew, design and create interesting textures and shapes with fabrics. By Friday each student will have created and MADE their own individual design using fabrics, wool, threads, beads, ribbons. They will be skilled on the sewing machine and also on the domestic kitting machine if interested. This is a fanstastic course for the students to explore and develop their creative side and to learn new skills which can be used over and over once th course has come to an end, and it's an exciting way to spend their summer holidays.
